Kramer Introduces New Power Supply Unit

 Hampton, New Jersey– September 14, 2009 – Kramer Electronics, a worldwide supplier of innovative and reliable signal management products, announces the introduction of the VA-100P-5 power supply unit. The VA-100P-5 is ideal for audio/video systems using multiple 5V operated products. It can also be used as a battery replacement for field battery-operated equipment.
 
The VA-100P-5 is a 10-outlet switching power supply that can output 5V DC up to 8A or maximum of 2A per output (up to four outputs at a time). It can also supply 800mA to each of the 10 outputs simultaneously. The unit is designed to power Kramer products that use an external 5V DC power transformer. It can also replace up to 10 individual 5V DC power supplies for Kramer TOOLS™, PicoTOOLS™ and 5V DC desktop models.
 
The compact unit weighs just 2.6 pounds, measures 8.44” x 6.4” x 1.7” (W, D, H), and is housed in a half 19-inch enclosure. It is easily rack mountable in a 19-inch rack and it can power up to 10 5V operated products mounted on the same rack.   The VA-100P-5 is fed from a 100-240 VAC universal switching power supply. Ten DC-to-DC cables are included with the unit, along with a power cord.
