Atlona Technologies announces the release of a New 7” High Definition Monitor with an HDMI Input, the AT-DIS7-HD, that could potentially save countless hours for AV installers all around the world
Almost every installer has faced issues in an installation where a faulty in-wall cable or connection is diagnosed after the drywall has been finished. In most cases this happens because the display is one of the last things to arrive at the jobsite. Atlona Technologies, solutions based manufacturer of Audio Video accessories, has recently addressed this issue with the AT-DIS7-HD, a7 inch Testing Monitor designed to test cabling and component installations, where displays are remote or not yet present.
This portable battery powered display will recognize any HDMI or DVI source at resolutions up to 1080P or 1920x1200, and allow integrators and installers to observe both audio and video signal in real time. An added function allows users the ability to view signal information such as HDCP compliance, Resolution and Frequency, Digital format, and Audio information. The AT-DIS7-HD also features an EDID learning function that allows this unit to virtually copy the extended display identification data from any HDTV to accurately mimic that TV for testing purposes. With multiple control options including manual as well as IR Remote, the AT-DIS7-HD is perfect for installers and integrators looking for a simple solution to monitor or verify audio and video settings on remote displays.
Atlona’s DIS7-HD is available now with an affordable MSRP of $349.00, and can be seen in action at InfoComm 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
