ORLANDO, FL., June 17, 2015 – Atlona, a leading AV connectivity solutions company, today introduced the Atlona Management System (AT-SW-AMS), a software resource for Atlona’s IP-controllable products in the commercial, educational, government, and residential markets. The AMS expedites the configuration, operation, and maintenance of Atlona devices to increase the efficiency of both installation configuration and on-site support. Atlona is demonstrating the software at the InfoComm show in Orlando this week (booth 1569), and it will be available for download at no charge from the company’s website by the end of Q3 this year.
“Atlona is dedicated to supporting its integrators in ways that make their jobs easier and more efficient,” said David Shamir, senior product manager for IP Audio/Video at Atlona. “The Atlona Management System demonstrates this commitment and adds to our reputation providing top-tier integrator and end-user support.”
The AMS integrates product configuration, management, and updates to reduce installation time and enable remote support. The software offers an intuitive user interface and many integrator-friendly features including the ability to auto-detect installed Atlona devices, retrieve and backup current configurations, copy configuration of one Atlona device to another, and perform firmware upgrades without a technician being on-site.
Ideal for use in multi-device AV installations, the AMS is scalable to support systems of any size. The remote management capabilities enable AV technicians to manage, operate, and maintain AV systems either locally (LAN) or remotely (WAN), 24/7, using a common web browser.
The AMS will be available in Q3 of this year for Atlona’s UHD-SW-5 Series and UHD-CLSO-612 matrix switcher, with an update expected in Q4 that will add functionality for the company’s UHD-CLSO-824, UHD-PRO3 Series, UHD-M2C-BAL, and UHD-H2H products.
