Sound & Video Contractor Confirms the Evolutionary Benefits of the Networked, Multi-Decode Node With Best of Show Award

MONTREAL — June 21, 2022 — VuWall, a technology leader in video wall control systems and unified visualization solutions, took home Sound & Video Contractor's InfoComm 2022 Best of Show award for its PAK™, an innovative solution for deploying and managing modular video walls in AV-over-IP environments. The judging panel included CTS-certified technology managers, integrators and consultants who evaluated the PAK during the show. The product was previously honored as a Best of Show winner at ISE 2022 by AV Technology magazine.

Now shipping, VuWall's PAK is a networked, multi-decode node that can operate as a stand-alone device or can be stitched with other PAK nodes to build an IP-based video wall that is infinitely scalable. With the cost-effective and compact appliance, integrators can simplify video wall deployments by reducing the number of connections and eliminating a single point of failure — reducing project risk and offering improved reliability. It features four HDp60 outputs or one 4Kp60 output and multi-format decoding of up to 32 HD streams per device, including H.264, NDI and remote desktops or virtualized web browsers.

As part of VuWall's ecosystem, PAK is managed by the company's award-winning TRx centralized management software platform, now available with version 3.2 updates that increase third-party interoperability and UI reactivity and performance. Easy to set up and configure, PAK is perfectly designed for multi-room visualization, situational awareness, control rooms and corporate workspaces. Its eco-friendly design boasts a compact form factor and low power consumption. PAK is small enough to be mounted behind monitors, saving rack space and reducing extended video cable runs.
