BTX Technologies today introduced the latest addition to the MaxBlox® family of solderless connectors: the CA-MX35M 3.5-mm stereo cable mount male connector. The new connector saves installers time and money in the field by eliminating the task of soldering small 3.5-mm stereo connectors.
Ideal for A/V applications where computer audio or IR control is used, the CA-MX35M consists of a 3.5-mm stereo plug with an attached screw terminal block, along with a two-piece, snap-together hood. The rugged connector allows installers to terminate a 3.5-mm stereo cable mount plug with only a strip tool and screwdriver, saving both time and money.
“We continually expand our MaxBlox family of solderless connectors to provide installers with solutions that simplify life in the field,” said Greg Schwartz, president of BTX. “Due to the small size of 3.5-mm stereo connectors, soldering them has always been a tedious task. With the CA-MX35M, it’s a simple process. By the time you heat up the soldering iron you would already be done terminating the CA-MX35M with just a strip tool and a screwdriver.”
The new CA-MX35M is currently available.
