Description

Challenge

Salade2fruits is a leading logistics company specialized in the distribution of fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the south of France, with two new logistics facilities and 17 warehouses. They were seeking a state-of-the-art visualization system to improve operational efficiencies and better service their 4,500 clients throughout the region. When handling and moving around fresh produce throughout the country, time is of the essence. They needed a solution that provides the ability to visualize multiple sources at once on their video wall, and to change layouts quickly and easily with an easy-to-use system.

Solution

Salade2fruits selected Motilde, an AV integrator in France, who deployed a 3×4 video wall that consists of 12x 49” LG displays and a 1×4 video wall in the main control room, an 85” 350 degree pivot screen in the supervisor’s office, a 2×2 (4×55”) video wall in the Warehouse, and an 85” vertical display in the welcome lobby. Motilde partnered with VuWall to provide high quality video wall controllers for all the video walls and VuWall’s TRx centralized management software to control and share data, dashboards, and all the important visual information throughout all displays throughout the facility.

Result

The deployment of the AV system at Salade2fruits was a huge success. The main control room displays dashboards for navigation, lists of orders & preparations, a visual of surveillance cameras throughout facilities, movements in the warehouse, and analytics on network operations. The facility operates 16 hours per day. The ability to visualize multiple sources at once and be able to change layouts using TRx quickly and easily has greatly increased productivity. Thanks to the success of this project, Salade2fruits is looking at growing distribution to all of France and then eventually, all of Europe.
